SeaSki Prototype reaches 55 knots

20 Feb SeaSki Prototype reaches 55 knots

The repowered SeaSki prototype is easily exceeding 100 km/h during its running-in phase and showing remarkable fuel efficiency.

The 2-ton vessel, on a 24 km run, returned 1.25 km/l at an average speed of 78 km/h (ranging from 75 to 86 km/h). This performance is 166% better fuel economy than the average from 6 planning vessels of similar size/weight listed in boat tests done by outboard manufacturers. In fact, some were barely capable of matching our average speed.
